Vice President 

  • Helped collect and organize food for annual food drives and donate to the local pantry for Thanksgiving

  • Repaired and beautified the school

  • Helped set up banners, tables and decorations for homecoming and back-to-school night

  • Hosted and planned the pep rally and spirit night by coordinating with faculty and students

  • Helped set up food and packets for incoming freshmen at Freshman Orientation

Liaison

  • Aided set up for school events, participated in fundraising ideas, helped put bricks in the entrance pathway

  • Responsible for raising awareness each month (breast cancer awareness, autism awareness) by updating the decorations in front of the school

  • Planned and hosted the annual art showcase- a week long event demonstrating all the art classes in school

  • Helped paint a mural in the school cafeteria that represented a timeline from 1969 to 2019 to celebrate Division Avenue's 50 year anniversary

  • Directed and helped on the the annual homecoming banner to be displayed throughout the homecoming parade

  • Held monthly meetings with liaison's from different languages

  • Helped host and prepare for world language week, printed fliers and booklets to raise awareness about different countries and languages

  • Obtained official seal of Biliteracy in the French language

Color Guard

Captain

  • Led the colorguard team through an intensive six month marching band season in the summer

    • Color guard is a rigorous part of Marching band in which a group of performers spin flags, rifles, and sabers, providing visual effects to the marching band show.​

  • Hosted sectionals and taught the routine to the team, revised previous work,

  • Taught basics of spinning to beginners, created and assigned video assignments

  • 5th place in States (2018 and 2019)

Peer Leaders​

  • Selected by teachers to help the incoming students get accustomed to the school, give a tour of each class, provide a club description packet, check in with them throughout the year to make sure their transitions smooth especially during the remote COVID situation.

Co-Founder 

  • Started a small non-profit campaign by selling handmade bracelets my team made and donating the money to local hospitals. 

  • Donated 200 handmade bracelets and raised over $400 in donations.

    • Hugh O'Brian Youth Leadership (HOBY) is an organization dedicated to "training and nurturing the young leaders of tomorrow." Its mission is to provide lifelong leadership development opportunities that empower youth to achieve their highest potential and gain knowledge of leadership skills.​

  • Nominated for Dragon Pioneer Scholarship 

    • The DAHS Dragon pioneer scholarship is awarded to a student that shows great leadership skills and is on a path for a successful future. These students keep up their grades while simultaneously participating in a variety of extracurricular activities.​

  • Nominated for Homecoming Queen 

    • The purpose of the Homecoming King and Queen is to represent the student body by exemplifying the spirit and highest standards of the school.​

  • Artists submission at Levittown Public High School Artists reception: 

    • Received a Nassau county clerk citation, certificate of achievement, certificate of merit, certificate of recognition.

  • Semi finalist in Japan Essay writing contest at Stonybrook

    • Participated in a National STEM competition in which teams compete in various science fields in regions of Study events, Lab Events and Building events.

    • Volunteered at the Regional Wisdom Science Olympiad volunteering by proctoring Science Olympiad events for middle school science comp.

    • Participated in a school run club to volunteer and help different people as well as engaging with different schools​

    • Served on an advisory board that gave feedback to the local library and helped set and partake in the youth events at the public library, make suggestions for future department plans, and assisted with the library marketing display

      • ​Helped volunteer at a camp by cleaning up the park grounds, attending information sessions and helping little girls with activity sessions in camping.

    • Savannah Speedway 

      • ​Helped teach girls how to build a race-car and volunteered to judge the race and helped set up and clean up before and after the event

    • Invention Convention 

      •  Helped introduce little girls to aeronautics, space and astronomy, taught about different planets, geography, room temperature, heat, current and waves and related activities

    • Chocolate Expo 

      • Acted as a Girl Scout Representative at a Chocolate Expo and helped set up and clean up vendors as well as making sure everyone had what they needed.

    • Ultimate Girl Scouts Experience

      • Helped girls in multiple activities and games to help them learn skills for life.​

      • Volunteered with a non profit organization to help promote adopting puppies.​
